Cristi Bruns Bio & Interview

Cristi is no stranger to the Water and Waste Water management, Cristi has contributed significantly to this industry during her career. She was the first female superintendent in the division at Chaparral City Water Company and has obtained Super Achiever Award from Kupferle Foundry for outperforming sales goals in 2014. Those of you who have worked with Cristi know that she excels at building new relationships and strengthens her existing networks in the industry, allowing her to provide outstanding client service and support.

Her focus at HYMAX is to continually strengthen those relationships and provide her outstanding support to you in her new role as Training & Field Support Manager for the Western United States. Cristi is a believer that you work hard and have fun in the process. RM: Tell me about a project or accomplishment that you consider to be the most significant in your career.

CB: During my manufacturer representative days, I was solely instrumental in getting over 45 cities and municipalities to not only specify, but in some cases sole specify, the air valve line I represented all within my first 2 years.

 

RM: If you could pick one theme for HYMAX to turn into a book about the company, what would it be?

CB: “Fix it and Forget it” – Superior quality that lasts decades

 

RM: What is on your wish list for the next 10 years with HYMAX?

CB: To see HYMAX be the most recognized name in the industry and to be a contributing factor in that journey.

 

RM: How do you define success?

CB: Working hard to achieve a set goal while maintaining integrity, humor, kindness and never compromising my reputation.

 

RM: Tell me how you first got involved in the water industry.

CB: I was originally hired in the customer service department of a privately-owned water company and in a very short time was promoted to Distribution Superintendent. Wow… that’s been almost 23 years ago and I still love this industry more and more each day.

 

RM: What do you wish other people knew about the HYMAX Brand?

CB: That the people behind the scenes are passionate about the HYMAX brand and truly believe in the vision.

 

RM: Tell me about someone who has influenced your decision to work with HYMAX

CB: Stan Pachorek was instrumental in my decision. I have seen his passion for HYMAX over the past few years and it is genuinely contagious.
