HYMAX Expert Tip: Getting set up for storm and hurricane season

During storm and hurricane seasons, it’s important to make sure you have enough product on your shelves. During extreme weather, distribution lines are disrupted with road closures and power outages preventing orders from being delivered quickly.

Make sure that you place orders before a hurricane or storm is on its way. Don’t wait until the storm is 72 hours away to find out that you are low on supplies. This is especially true for made-to-order products which can take up to six weeks to be delivered.Other events to consider over the summer are vacations by employees, and holidays such as Labor Day.
